About:
The American Cancer Society Relay for Life is a fun-filled event that provides a great opportunity to raise awareness for cancer, and how to prevent it among students and their families. This is a character building, leadership training, and community service event that can bring together students, teachers and families. Participants get involved by taking part in activities, such as walking around the track and other sports games. Unfortunately, Blind Brook High School could not get the funds to host a Relay For Life event at our school this year, but we are working on planning now so that we can hopefully be capable of hosting one next year. So far we have had fundraisers at Mixology, Barre classes, and Candy Rox.
